Everytime we do a search while we are listening to some music appear the message "you are offline, try again". But the home page and the music streaming have no problem. To solve the problem we have to force close the app or switch off/on the data connection. It only happens with data connection (full 4g) not with wifi connection.

It's a common and serious bug here in Italy, you can check all the bad reviews in Italian Android play store. It could be related to vodafone network. We're waiting for a fix. Thanks.

I came here to report the same problem but on Vodafone in the Netherlands. It has been doing this for 3-4 weeks. Phones affected Samsung s8 and note 10 plus on the most recent Dutch firmwares. N975Fxxsa1skb for the note, don't have the s8 firmware handy

Since you mention that this is happening to a different network connection than the one mentioned in this Ongoing Issue, we'd suggest starting a new thread in the relevant Help Board with all the relevant details. We'll be happy to lend a hand there.

Thanks for staying with us on this.

 

As a heads-up, the original issue mentioned in the first post of this thread should be fixed now.

 

As far as the new reports are concerned, we haven't been able to reproduce them or collect enough info for further attempts.

 

With this in mind, if there's anything sounding like this issue which you'd wish to report, it'd be extremely useful if you'd open a new Help thread and let us know the details below:

 

  • In which area of Italy this is happening
  • At which date and what time you know for sure you have experienced this recently Which device you use and which OS (operating system) version it has
  • Exact Spotify version Steps or screen-recording of what you're seeing - just make sure that there's no sensitive/private info displayed

We'll make sure to pass these on to our tech teams, thanks again!
