My Question or Issue

I invited my friend to participate in making a shared playlist. Which he accepted.

I can see this shared playlist on my puplic profile, but can't see it on my friends public profile, though I can see lots of other playlists on his public profile. I am a bit reluctant to ask him for the reason. That's why I ask here.

Can there be another reasen that I can't see our shared playlist on his public profile, I mean another reason, than the possibility that he may not want to make it public on his profile? Some technical reason ?

best regards J

Hi there, @JBN4,

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

Users can choose which of the playlists they follow are displayed on their profile. This is done manually though, from the three dots menu of the playlist > Add to profile (unlike new personal playlists, which can be made to automatically show on the user's profile from the desktop app's settings). Perhaps your friend is unaware of this and thus hasn't done so yet.

Another reason could be that they have a huge number of playlists on their profile already. There's a limit of 200, so if they have more, some might not show up.

Hope this clears things up. Cheers 🤘
