Why is there no option to permanently disable smart shuffle? This is a ridiculous feature and the UX is so annoying. I either want to shuffle my own playlist or not. When you press shuffle it takes 10-15 seconds to turn on smart shuffle, then another 10-15 seconds to be able to turn it off. Sometimes it randomly automatically turns on when I press play on a playlist. Why would the shuffle button have three options? It takes a ridiculous amount of time and it freezes my app. If I can turn off automix and autoplay then this should be an option too. It's the worst feature ever made.

Hi there, folks,
We've just recently introduced a method of disabling Smart Shuffle across all playlists for Premium users. While this is currently only possible on mobile, rest assured our tech folks are actively working on brining this functionality on desktop as well.
As soon as we have any news on the topic, we'll post an update in this thread, so check it out and subscribe from the three dots menu at the top to stay tuned.

My issue with smart shuffle is that it smart shuffels even when it is not turned on, so when I tap the tab it first turns on shuffle, then smart shuffle and then tursn it off on the third tap.
It's actually**bleep**. Even when normal shuffle is off smart shuffle is on for some dumb reason
I'm having an infuriating issue with Smart Shuffle. Smart Shuffle is forcing ON despite cycling through and only using the regular shuffle feature. I updated the app, restart my computer and am still not able to use the REGULAR SHUFFLE FEATURE.
Please support. This is ridiculous. If it's a premium feature, it would be the easiest thing in the world to code a toggle for on/off in the settings. Please make it happen. It's a simple boolean!!
Hi there! Looks like this is still an issue 13+ months later. When can we expect a fix? Unless do I need to stop paying for premium? Thanks.
So there still isn't a solution to this problem and now we're going to have ads. Looks like I'm not paying for Spotify anymore. Ive been using this service for 15 years. Shame on you guys.
