When i add albums to a playlist it adds random songs by the artist

Basically whenever i try to add an album to a playlist it adds other songs by the artist mixed throughout the album that i dont want.

Hey @tcbaytc, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

You can add an entire album to a playlist using these steps:

1. Click the 3 dots on the album and select add to playlist.
2. On the desktop app or the web player, simply drag and drop an album into a playlist or a folder.

It shouldn’t add random songs that aren’t in that album into your playlist. Can you let me know if you’re on Spotify Free or Premium, and the make and model of your device? I’ll do some digging.

Thanks for your response, its spotify premium on ios. It works fine on my android but on my partners Iphone she cant get it not to add random songs.

Thanks for getting back to me. Can you send me a screenshot or screen recording of the random songs that are being added? Make sure to hide sensitive info when posting to the Community. I’d like to take a closer look at this.

Also, can you let me know if your partner has Spotify Free or Premium?
