My Question or Issue

A friend and I created a playlist for work together. I am a collaborator, but suddenly and for no apparent reason, the playlist now appears as "not available" in my library. On my friend's account, the playlist functions just fine and all the settings look correct; it even shows me as a collaborator, yet I can't access it on my account. Sometimes the playlist appears as Private, but it is 100% a public playlist; we have double-checked numerous times on my friend's account/device.

I have spent hours troubleshooting all the solutions could find online/think of. I have tried the desktop app and web player. I have tried the mobile app and logging in/out of all devices. My friend attempted numerous share/collaboration invites; when I click the link, it just tells me the playlist is unavailable or private again. I did a clean reinstall of the app on my phone. I cleared cache/cookies, everything, and had my friend do the same. I made a brand new account to see if it would work on there.

Nothing has worked. I am about to just make a brand new playlist from scratch, but not if it can just vanish like this again...

Hey @CourtesyMan,

Thanks for reaching out.

We're sorry to hear about your experience so far. Can you please ask you friend to check their account email address for any notifications that the playlist was made private?

In any case, given the extensive troubleshooting you've done so far, we'd suggest simply copying over the contents of the playlist to a new one.

We hope this helps.
