I wanted to report an issue I've been experiencing with the music player across multiple platforms. After searching for and playing a specific song, I've noticed that the "Playing recommended songs for you" feature is no longer available. Once the selected song finishes playing, instead of transitioning to recommended songs, it simply pauses and returns to the beginning of the searched song. Additionally, I'm unable to manually move on to the next song.
This issue has persisted on my iPhone 12, Windows 10, and the web player. It's quite inconvenient as I enjoy discovering new music through the recommended songs feature. I hope this can be addressed soon as it significantly impacts the overall music listening experience.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Thank you for responding. Despite having tried the suggested solution in the message, I gave it another try. However, since English is not my first language, I changed the language of the application to English to better search for the "Autoplay" option. Interestingly, simply changing the language of the application resolved the issue, with the Autoplay option disabled. Hehe.
Hi there @Yenbeel,
Thanks for reaching out. We've moved your post here where it better fits.
What you've described should still be possible. You can enable Smart Shuffle in any playlist to get more recommendations added to it that you can keep if you like. The feature you're most likely referring to though is Autoplay, if you have it on, recommended songs will keep playing after an album or playlist has finished. Check your setting and if you believe something isn't behaving as it should, let us know so we can assist you.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info @Yenbeel and we're glad to hear that the function is now working for you as it should 🙂

Hi! I've had the same problem where I search a specific song on Spotify, click it and after it is finished, instead of it playing similar recommended songs, it just goes back and replays the same song again. Is there any way to fix this? Or is it a bug?
Hey there @alexandra82001,
Thanks for your reply here and welcome.
It sounds like you have the repeat feature enabled on your device. When you search for a song and play it, when it ends it'll automatically start playing the same track again even if you've enabled Autoplay.
In that sense, make sure to disable that feature. On the desktop app it can be found here:
If it is highlighted in green, it means it is activated. You'll need to click on it once or twice to disable it. Once it is gray, you'll know it's disabled. On the mobile device, the option can be found in the Now Playing view in the same space. Give it a try and let us know how it goes.
If the above doesn't do the trick, it'd be awesome if you could share with us a short video recording of this behavior, so we can have a better look. You can attach the video to your next reply in mp4 format, or you can also upload it to YouTube or Google Drive and make it public, so we can visualize it.
Keep us in the loop!
Hi! Thank you for the answer, I did have autoplay happen to have autoplay on. I disable it now and it works, so thank you!
