My Question or Issue
I cleared the cache yesterday, then initiated a clean install and none of the media is downloaded locally to the device. Whenever I goto my library where I am following "the journal" a wall Street Journal podcast and I click on that podcast to open up the episodes list, the Spotify app crashes.

Thanks for trying those steps? I know you’ve tried a clean reinstall but can you also perform these reinstalling steps? They’re more thorough than a simple reinstall as it can resolve Spotify issues. If that doesn’t work, can you let me know if you’re able to access other podcasts with no problem, or is it that one specifically?

I am also having the same issue the only podcast that does not work is " the journal "

Having the same issue in a pixel 7. Only happens with "The Journal". If I keep trying it works but leaving all and going back to it will cause app to crash.

Thank you for the information you’ve shared and for letting me know this is happening. Can you try excluding the Spotify app from Device Care on your devices? You can do this by going to Settings > Device care > Memory > tap the option Excluded applications > in the upper right corner, select Spotify and click the button Add.
If that doesn’t work, can you please leave your exact make/model of the device this happens on, operating system and Spotify version of your device here? If you have any screen recordings of this happening, that would be helpful to attach as it will help with the investigation. The right teams are currently looking into this.
