Weird Local Files Problem

Weird Local Files Problem

Android Phone If It Helps

I am trying to get a batch of local files (30ish) onto a large playlist of mine (around 1300 songs). These files were previously on that playlist before they removed themselves. They all play perfectly fine. They work fine in a smaller playlist on the same phone. And on my computer, they show up on the big playlist. I've tried moving songs manually, moving the whole smaller playlist to the bigger one, and doing these processes on my computer, but no luck. Spotify doesn't think it fails, it always says "Song Added to Playlist", but when I go to check it just isn't there. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there @RCelcius01,

Thanks for reaching out. So, adding these local files doesn't work but only in that big playlist, is that correct? Does it work on other similarly sized playlists? As a test, can you create a brand new playlist, copy all the music from the old big one into that and then try to add the songs and see if it works?

Let us know how it goes.

Hi there, Joan.

That sounds like a great idea, which I'd try if the issue didn't resolve
itself. I truly don't know how, but I woke up one day to find the local
files added into the larger playlist... about seven times, since I'd tried
so many different ways. I really don't think I did anything, it just seemed
like the playlist needed 5 more minutes before it wanted to actually
update. If I knew how I made this happened, I'd gladly share it with you.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, however. If the same issue happens
again, I'll definitely consider your advice.

Regards,
RC01
