When I click on a song that is sent to me it clears my queue. Need to fix this

Hi!

My co-worker sent me a song on slack, so I clicked on it. It then opened the Spotify app, played the song, and cleared my queue. This should definitely not happen; instead it should bring me to that song's page (within the artist or album's page). It should not auto-play nor should it clear my queue!

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community 😃

If a song is autoplaying when opening a link, check the web app for the folowing setting

Settings > display > Show the now playing window on click of play > [turn off]

This may help. I can't explain why the queue is being reset.
