“Your Library” is severely underused

I am an “album” guy. I like adding albums to my library, and then searching my library for songs. 

I still don’t understand why I can’t search songs that are in my library (I am not talking about “liked songs”!

I also don’t why I can’t shuffle music from my entire library?

Thank you for sharing your feedback in the Spotify Community. I understand you'd like to have more control over how you listen and save your music within the app.

The function to shuffle your entire library is not currently available on the Spotify app. A similar idea has already been suggested here - feel free to add your vote to it by hitting the “Thumbs up” button to show your support for it! The relevant team will be taking it into account as soon as it reaches the number of votes required.
