add to other playlist

Hi there,  If I add a Spotify generated playlist "daily mix xx" to one of my playlists, will my playlist be updated when the Spotify generated playlist does?

@ired - I'm pretty sure the answer's "No" here, without having actually tried it for myself. I think Spotify just copies and pastes that specific selection into a new playlist as if it was a regular playlist, without copying over the dynamic features of the Daily Mix.

Is there anything in particular you're trying to achieve? I'm happy to help 🙂

What I am trying to do:

There is known issue with the google assistant and the daily mixes.

When I ask the GA to play daily mix 1 plays an album or anothers playlist that is called daily mix 1 instead of mine.

So I create a playlist with a unique name and assign the daily mix 1 to this playlist and so on...

Then I have a routine in GA that goes: when I say daily mix 1, play the unique playlist.

That works fine but if it's not dynamic the whole project is cancelled... 😄

Hey @ired - I don't use GA, but I just tested what you described and I can reproduce it. I'm not sure whether it's an issue or just that the app doesn't support those commands, but I agree it's frustrating that it doesn't recognise any of the dynamic Made For You playlists.

I'm afraid I don't think there's a better way around it than what you've come up with. I tried adding a shortcut to Daily Mix 1 on my device's home and assign a routine, but not having any luck with it so far.

the app supports it and there are times that works I have use this in the past with success but sometimes does not. So I try to solve this for good...
