Just to clarify, were you previously able to use the lyrics feature or was it always unavailable for you?

If it's a temporary issue, it'd be great for you to do a clean reinstall of the app to see if that does the trick. If you never had access to the feature, take a look at this awesome and very informative post by @VeRy.

If you've never seen the lyrics in the past it's possible that you're in a region where that feature is not available yet, or that your account is in a test group.
