playlists not showing up in library

playlists not showing up in library

my playlists will not show up in my library, if i select “playlists” and then “by me” only one thing appears on screen, a folder. if i tap that folder it takes me to the same window, and that goes on and on. if i go to my profile, my playlists do show up so they are not deleted. i have this issue on both my ios app as well as my laptop. i have no clue what happened

Hey @midescus,

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

We've tried reproducing this but we were not able to, so it might be a good idea to try some troubleshooting here.

First up, we'd recommend logging out and then logging back in two times in a row on your phone. It sounds a bit odd, but it forces a sync between the account and your device.

It's also a good idea to clear cached files on your devices by following the steps in this article.

Lastly, we'd suggest that you ask a friend or a family member to log into their device to test if you'll experience the same when you try looking for your playlists.

In case the issue persists, it'd be great if you can send over a video or some screenshots where we can take a better look at this behavior.

Let us know how it goes. We'll be on the lookout for your reply.

i tried everything suggested, did not fix it, i will attach a series of screenshots that show the process, i know they look almost the same but they are not, all of them are the result of me pressing the folder.

Hey @midescus,

Thanks for getting back to us and for the screenshots you've provided.

This issue seems very odd. You said you've tried everything, did you got the same behavior when logged into another device?

We'd also recommend that you check if you'll be able to see your playlist while using our Spotify Web Player

In case you can see and play them in the player, but not on your apps, we'd suggest uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it again (on both iOS and desktop device). This'll get you the latest app version with all necessary updates and fixes and remove any corrupted files from previous installations that might interfere with the app's performance on your devices.

Let us know how it goes.
