"Do Not Track" Function

I'd like to be able to exclude certain songs, playlists, artists from being tracked in my history/statistics.

The reason for this is that I have several playlists of songs for my infant daughter that I play daily.

I'd rather not have these songs appearing in my annual wrap up and most played songs, as these aren't a true reflection of the music that I like.

Hi @apaulefont,

Thank you for posting on the Community!

We've moved your post to this help board because this is a feature that already exists and it's the Private Session mode. When you activate it, none of the music you play will impact your recommendations, personalized playlists or Wrapped.

In the article I shared you can find all the information about it.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Private session does not work on Google Home, so this response isn't
helpful. Private session also doesn't work retrospectively, so the songs
I've listened to previously can't be removed from tracking.

Hey there @apaulefont,

Thanks for getting back to with more details!

You're right that the app doesn't have such options yet, but there are ideas, regarding the implementation of Private Sessions when using Google Home (see here), as well as in regards to editing songs out of your saved preferences here.

We'd advise you to keep the app up to date in the meantime 🙂

Take care!

Hi Elena,

The links in your reply don't seem to work.

Can you please provide the URLs?
