APP NOT WORKING ON IPHONE

APP NOT WORKING ON IPHONE

The app on my iphone says that my free trial is over but i can continue to shuffle my playlists online for free. I have signed up for the premium subscription and there's nothing on my account online that will allow me to even blimmin pay for the first month upfront just so the app might recognise that I am paying. It's very annoying as this is the ONLY reason I decided to pay spotify, so I could use it out and about offline and now it won't let me do anything but browse online. All my playlists have been unsynced. This is a really unecessary problem, and rather inconvenient as I deleted all my music off my phones internal memory so I could use spotify offline!!

 

I have tried deleting the app, reinstalling, logging in and out, switching phone on and off again, changing routers.

 

Any response would be great or I will delete my account and use another provider such as Bloom.

You can always use free trial by turning off your app.

 

@georgieadams -- your account currently has an active Premium trial so all Premium benefits should be available to you. Is it your Facebook details you're using to login? Are you seeing/hearing ads when streaming?

This problem often occurs when users have two accounts, perhaps associated with a Facebook page (although sometimes users have accidentially created accounts with two emails). 

 

Try logging out of the app on your phone and logging back in (menu button in top left corner -> Settings -> Log Out). Then, try logging in with the same user account that you posted your question from, as Adam has confirmed that you have Premium active on that account. Does this change anything?

Sotify's FB integration is obtuse and is leading to issues.

You as a company need to address this.
