Apple Watch app is slow to become active on raise to wake

My Question or Issue

Hello, another topic from me, the "I only use the Apple Watch on LTE guy :)". 

This time I want to show you that the Apple Watch app is a little bit slow on the raise to wake action compared to the other available apps. This is annoying because it's the only app (as far as I'm concerned) that has this behaviour. 

I didn't notice any difference between having the watch connected to the phone or not. 

Also in this case I tried with 2 different Apple Watches, the video shows the Series 7 but on the other (a Series 4) it was even slower. 

Right now I'm on the latest version available on the App Store (8.9.19.571)

I already tried the usual procedures and this is after a system reinstall and a fresh install of Spotify on both (iOS and Watch OS), but it didn't change anything.

Hey there @thebertozz! So sorry for the late reply, I'd love to help you.

I see that at the time of your post, you were running Spotify version 8.9.19, and currently the latest one on the App Store is now 8.9.42. A lot has changed since then.

That being said, can you confirm if this issue is still happening on your end running the latest version?

I have the same problem with the series 7 and running spotify v8.9.50.491

Hello! Well it seems a little bit faster but still not as fast as Apple Music, but at least is usable 🙂
