Broken Search on iOS

8 times out of 10, I open the app on my phone and go to search and I receive errors. Errors being either I'm offline (I'm clearly not), just a general error with a 'try again' button or more often than not that they couldn't find any search results (I'm not looking for obscure bands here - I tested with everything from Led Zeppelin to Taylor Swift). After a frustratingly large number of retries, it eventually works - the same query that just told me nothing could be found suddenly works. Sometimes I have to force close the app to make it work. 

Consider how much Spotify relies on the search functionality (at least historically), this seems to be a pretty major issue. Anyone else experiencing this? Any fix? 

Running iOS 8 on an iPhone 6 but had the same issues on my iPhone 5S.
