Bug Affecting Some of Jim Croce’s Tracks on Spotify

Solved!

Bug Affecting Some of Jim Croce’s Tracks on Spotify

A bug appeared on my phone (as well as my friends’) a few days ago that causes songs in some of Jim Croce’s albums (Life & Times, I Got a Name and You don’t mess around with Jim) to play versions of those songs from different albums, most egregious being  ‘I’ll Have to Say I Love You In A Song’ playing a version of the track by someone called Ekin Cheng.

Some live versions of Croce’s tracks also play instead of the ones on the albums in question.

I’ve attached some images if I haven’t been descriptive enough

First post so I’m sorry if this is poorly formatted/written

I’ve also had this problem! I noticed it the other day and thought I was going crazy, googled what I could see from the title and everything. YouTube Music also credits “I’ll Have to Say I Love You in a Song” to Ekin Cheng as well, so I’m assuming it’s larger than Spotify, though idk how any of that stuff works. Glad I’m not alone.

Yeah, that whole Ekin Cheng this is really bizarre! I couldn’t find anything online about it, aside from the YouTube video and it has comments disabled so no answer there either
