My Question or Issue

I would like to report a bug in the iOS app.

When the message appears:

You’re in control. Allow tracking to receive relevant Spotify promotions and marketing messages. You can update your choice at any time in your iOS settings. Spotify’s Privacy Policy

– the popup shows with a button to choose. However, when I press the button, the popup disappears for one second and then appears again. This repeats infinitely and makes the app unusable.

App version: Spotify 9.0.74.1123

iOS version: 18.3.1

Hey there @xc000000,

Thanks for reaching out!

This is odd. Have you already tried performing a clean reinstall of the app on your phone to see if that makes any difference?

If that doesn't do the trick, could you give it a try using a different mobile device and let us know if you notice the same behavior?

We'll be on the lookout for your response.

Im getting the same issue and nothing is working, I'm really getting frustrated.

Personally, what helped me was doing a hard reset on the phone, where you need to press the volume up button, then the volume down button, and after that hold the power button until the phone restarts. My guess is that it comes from issues with the app cache, which causes duplication or makes the app treat you as if you’re in a different region where you actually aren’t, and that’s why this message keeps appearing. And since you’re not located in that region, there’s no way for you to accept those terms.

Try it, and if it doesn’t work, write again.
