Bug in the Spotify app (iOS)

I’m on an iPhone SE, iOS version 11.2.2 and there’s a bug that’s been happening for a while. When I play a song, the song which is currently playing is invisible and I can’t touch it, which means I can’t skip around in the song. I also can’t see all of the songs in the queue sometimes.

Experiencing the same problem for a few months now on a new iPhone 8 with iOS 11 running version 8.4.35.213. Really irritating and can’t find a fix. Have deleted and reinstalled but issue remains. Have provided a link to my post about this below:
