Can iOS app work through a proxy?

I have an HTTP proxy on my network at work... Other than the proxy, there's nothing else blocking Spotify. The Mac desktop app works fine on the same wireless network when supplied with the proxy server's address, but the iOS app seems unable to connect. I'll either get an "unable to connect... get on a better wireless network" message, or it will just try to connect forever. Is that a known limitation of the iOS app?

Same problem here.

My experience: I can download the Spotify App from the Apple App Store but Spotify doesn't even login, it just hangs with the 3 dots showing it's loading.

I am uninstalling again and will check in a few weeks to see if there is an update.
