Can't disable the behind the lyrics

Hi there ,
I'm on iOS 10 and can't turn the behind the lyrics feature of. I've toggle switch in settings, hard reset and re installed app but won't remove it and I find the lyrics function to be a hindereance .
Any body got any ideas?

The toggle switch in the settings just makes it so the behind the lyrics doesn't automatically pop up when playing music. If the switch is turned on, it just keeps the option to view it in the background, but it doesn't auto pop up. Unfortunately right now there is no way to completely shut it off.
