Can't individually save songs in saved albums anymore?

Why did they remove this feature?
Now if I have an album I love but a song in the album i hate/don't want to listen to, spotify goes "LOL LISTEN TO IT, **bleep**"

Or if I want to browse my music without reading through a giant /list/ of all my songs, because that toootally is an intuitive way to find your music. (It's not.)

Basically this post, but I only got this stupid, spotify-RUINING update recently.

EDIT:  I didn't realize this was the phone section, as I'm mostly a PC user, but then it's still relevent here:  Why did you turds at spotify bring this HORRIBLE update from your crappy ios app over to PC?  Stop it.

yea they took that away a while back... spotify sucks now.

Do you like the quick scroll function in albums?? oh wait that doesnt exist anymore either.

i think im going to start a go fund me to make a spotify competitor thatll just own them as I will have alpha numeric sorting...

It didn't happen for everyone a while back, I'm using an old version of iOS and an old version of spotify and my albums without all tracks have only just disappeared, I guess they changed something on the back end.

This album change is the worse move yet if you ask me, it was so easy to find what you wanted, sure we can complain but I think we all just whistling in the wind.

I still miss the spotify iOS app for ipads with split screen they ditched in 2017, that was great.

No one asked for it.... they are claiming that maybe, but no one did. Maybe im just old now but it does not make anything easier so i cannot comprehend what they think is a positive to these updates.
