My Question or Issue
Recently got a new phone and can’t log in to my app, keeps telling me there was an issue and to try again later. Have looked at other threads, changed my password, deleted and reinstalled, tried using my username. Still nothing, I can still log in via safari.

Just to confirm, did you perform a regular or clean reinstall? Most common issues can be fixed with a quick reinstall of the app. In some situations however, a clean (more thorough) reinstall of the app might be needed. This way you can start afresh with Spotify on your iPhone.

I'm having the same problem. I can log in on-line and on my iPad. All devices are on the latest versions of software. I did a clean reinstall of Spotify on my phone, but it still rejects my email/password......which work on the other two devices. Help.

Thanks for reaching out about this.
Can you try to log in your account on one of the other devices and copy your Username (the long combination of letters and numbers) and try logging in with on your phone that instead of your email address.

I know how to fix this issue.
I couldn't log in as well, and only on my iPhone.
I deleted app twice and it made no difference.
Same error:
wrong password and email...
So then I connected to WiFi, before that I was using LTE cellular connection. And IT WORKED.
So then I just decided to go into the settings.
Settings -> Mobile Data -> Scrolled to Spotify and saw that toggle is switched off
When I turned it on it worked flawlessly.
So please Spotify Team, add a notification that tells:
"PLEASE CHECK IF YOU HAVE TURNED OFF MOBILE DATA FOR SPOTIFY"
"Yes, it is switched off" -> "Turn it on and your problem will be solved!"
