Can't view queue on iPhone

Tried following this guide, but the three bars aren't displayed on my iPhone. 

I want to view the queue because whenever I try to play another song (from a playlist or album or whatever) it plays one song, then jumps back to whatever the next song in the queue was. This is VERY annoying, so I want to try to clear whatever playlist I have in the queue right now to see if that fixes it (help with this problem is also appreciated).

After an update this week I had this problem too. Now I can only see the queue by maximizing the banner at the bottom that shows what’s playing, tapping the 3 dots next to it, and tapping “Go to queue” right beneath the option to add to queue. I hope there’s a better way that I haven’t figured out yet because I’m not a fan of this new way.
