Cannot connect to Spotify Connect devices after upgrade to version 8.4.18 on iOS

After I recently upgraded to version 8.4.18 on iOS (both on iPhone 6 and on iPad air 2) Spotify no longer finds any Spotify Connect devices. When selecting a device from an older version of Spotify, it still works.
