Cannot play songs in Liked Songs in order when I sort them by title

My Question or Issue

So I am wanting to play songs chronologically with the playlist sorted alphabetically by track title. It seems I am completely unable to do this on mobile. At first I thought shuffle kept turning on, and maybe that is happening too, when it kept starting to play another random song from the playlist next. But I think what is mainly happening is that the next song that plays is the one that is after the selected song if the playlist was in the default order (by addition date). It’s driving me mental. I have not been having this problem on the desktop app.

I checked this on my end and when I sort a playlist by title, then click play, the queue is properly organized based on that order.

Could you try the following steps and see if that helps:

1. Go to app settings → data-savings/offline → clear cache. Restart the device and see if the queue is in the same order as the playlist.
2. Turn on offline mode from the same settings and see if the issue persists.
3. Perform a clean installation of the Spotify app, since you mentioned the issue is only on the mobile app. Refer to the complete guide here.
