Canvas toggle option off not available

My Question or Issue

The option to toggle Canvas on / off is not available on iOS Version of the app. Canvas is detrimental to my user experience and I find myself using Spotify less and less these days because of it. Running it while driving is distracting, bordering dangerous, and I am wondering whether use with canvas enabled while driving is even permissible under local law in its current form.

Less of an issue while using at home, as I simply stopped using the iOS app at home.

Please provide guidance of how to disable, other than data saver which limits the audio quality. Have tried reinstalling and relogging multiple times.

You should be able to disable Canvas by heading to Settings > Content and display. If you can't find it there, please share the exact version of Spotify you're running, along with a screenshot which shows how things look on your end so we can investigate further.

Thank you for your answer. It appears the feature toggle has been moved from "Playback" to "Content and display". All older guides (including information available through LLMs show the feature under "Playback".
