When adjusting the volume while connected to my "Awesome New TV" nothing happens. My device volume will be adjusted but not the actual volume on the connect app. Tried closing and reopening the app.

Hey Void!

 

Sorry you're having this issue. Let's start with some basics. What version of Spotify do you have downloaded? It can be found under "Settings" (The gear icon) then "About". Let me know!

Looks like the version is: 8.5.31.989

Not sure how, but the problem has stopped. I adjusted the volume on the lock screen and once i returned to the application it would adjust itself like normal. There might be a bug in the actual iOS code (weak references not being accounted for). Thank you for taking the time to help me!

Okay great! Your Spotify is up to date. I'm wonder if the TV remote volume buttons override the volume buttons on your phone. Does the TV remote work to adjust volume?
