Connecting to certain Alexa devices from IOS via Spotify Connect not working

My Question or Issue

Spotify Connect on certain Alexa devices are not being seen by the Spotify app on Ios devices.  When I do Spotify connect on Alexa Show devices, it works every time.  On Alexa Dots and Alexa Echo's ( 2nd and 3rd gen) the Spotify Connect command works on the devices but then on the Spotify app the devices never shows up.

I will also add that all the devices are on the same network.
