Crossfade suddenly making sharp pauses

My Question or Issue

This morning I was playing the “Transistor Original Soundtrack” album and noticed there is a sharp pause when the crossfade starts. I thought it may be a bug so I checked the updates, updated to the newest version (also, disappointed the “Discover” option is gone now), and it still has a sharp pause. I wasn’t having any trouble yesterday with it.

I don’t think this is a connectivity problem. Everything else I’ve checked is running smoothly from my end to other sites.
