Download quality settings

Probably a stupid question, just want to know for sure. Does the download quality setting only refer to Spotify's streaming tracks being made available offline, and not local files? I would assume that local files are just downloaded as they are, not re-encoded.

Yep, download quality setting is only applied to the Spotify's streaming tracks.
