Editing Your Playlist On Random

My Question or Issue:

Since updating to Spotify version 8.4.70 I appear to have lost the ability to edit a playlist while it plays in random - move or delete songs - unless they have been added to the “queue”. I can’t believe this feature would be removed. What am I doing wrong?
