I have Spotify Premium which I bought about 2 weeks ago, everything was going but the other day I was playing thru my iphone & iPod dock and halfway thru a song the quality of the sound went really bad....sounds tiny & all treble. I have tried playing straight from my phone & other docks etc but all songs sound shocking! Is there any settings that I can change to fix this???

Have you tried reinstalling the app? It sounds like the EQ settings might have become messed up.
