How do I access Your Music on the iPad app?

How do I access Your Music on the iPad app?

I mostly listen to albums, not playlists.

I used to keep all my saved albums on Spotify as playlists - but following the update I re-saved them all as saved albums under 'Your Music' (on the new desktop app for OS X) and deleted my old playlists (assuming I wouldn't need them anymore).

This was fine on my iPhone as now I can access my saved albums under the 'Your Music' However, I then tried this on my iPad and couldn't find a way to access 'Your Music' at all?

How do I access 'Your Music' and/or saved albums on the iPad app?

@cmonster

That was for the "Repeat One" feature, not for Your Music...not that it won't change anything by the way 🙂

C'mon Spotify, this is getting really ridiculous!!! Where the f**k is the ipad release ??????????

I have just been looking over Spotify on a trial version (it just became available in Canada) to see if it was worth moving over from Rdio. I like Rdio a lot, it's a great service. But I wanted to see if Spotify's higher streaming quality made a move worth it. A big concern I had was how to get my collection over without having to re-build it from scratch. But after looking around, I can't seem to find any collection feature at all. I must just be missing it. I do a search and land on the beginning of this thread. Oh good, this was just an iPad app issue that they must have fixed by now, and I just need to find out where the feature is. But there seem to be a lot more follow on entries. I skip straight to the most current post. I see the picture. It says it all. After leaving this note of support for the long-time sufferors, I am going back to where I came from. But I feel for you.

And 5 months later... Did they give up or what?

The developers are working on an updated iPad update with a new design similar to the iPhone app and it will include Your Music.

Shouldn't be too long of a wait. Maybe 1-3 months wait at the most. (just my best guess)

Hope they fix the crossfader in both iPad and iPhone - seems to have jammed!

Send a man to the moon was easier.....

Any news on an update for iPad?

Hey guys! Thanks for your patience on this. No, Spotify has not given up on an iPad update.

When Spotify has information to share about the iPad update, it will be posted here and to related threads.

This is beginning to be a joke at this stage. It's available on Android and the iphone but not the Ipad? I enquired about this months ago and was told that it was going to be available "in the coming weeks". As a premium member I'm quite annoyed to say the least... Think I may move on from Spotify as many friends have already... Not worth £120 a year!!!

This is a shame, would Spotify release an iPad update some day?? I'm paying for this service!! This is worse than the Whatsapp update after iOS 7 in iPhone!!. I hope the hipotetic update would be awesome awesome awesome, because if it only has a few features...

How about making the iPhone app available on the iPad? The iPhone app seems to be more fully featured. I would gladly use itscaled up to iPad resolutions – it's much better than not having access to your music.

This is just nuts. New update today on iPad and still no 'your music'. Also needed for roku app. Come on sort it out, it's not like we don't pay you for the service! Align your platform experience please

Spotify apparently is not able to do what the competition does. Probably the worst app of all comparable streaming services

Sadly, I have come to the conclusion that my "premium" subscription does not include app updates.

I'm basically just paying for the music service itself, which I guess is ok but as others have said the most frustrating aspect of this is that Spotify refuse to give an explanation or ETA for the new iPad app. Ultimately I just have to live with a massively outdated app, or find a new music service.

I have installed Rdio and so far it seems pretty good.

Seriously, this is outrageous. It's been forever. The desktop app only has a button to "save to your music," and I can't even access that from the app? Are you guys serious? At least change it back to me just being able to easily star songs. Not to mention the fact that both of the options are completely ass-backwards in general.

This issue still hasn't been resolved?

And this is why I will never buy "premium" again. Spotify has become a sell out.

I've been very, very patient.

But I have just canceled my subscription...

Finally, there's an iPad update! I can't believe it after that long long wait, but it seems to work perfectly. Hope Spotify would keep releasing some new updates for the iPad more frequently....

It looks like it was personel, my music is alive and kicking, they were waiting for you to cancel.

Yay! iPad app update and My Music is finally there! All my albums! Thanks!

Well, they're gone from the iPhone app now, but hey, if that's the price you have to pay, I'm all for it.
