How do I remove songs from the recently played in the iOS app

I would like to remove songs from the recently played list on the home screen. Specifically on the latest version of the iOS app.

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to remove items from Recently played on the Home screen. It updates automatically based on your listening activity, so the best you can do is to keep listening to the music that you like, and the Recently played list will update over time. 

There’s also a relevant Live Idea in the Idea Exchange for being able to customize the Home screen. If it’s something you’re interested in, I’d recommend adding your +VOTE to the idea (even though its current status is "Not Right Now"). The more votes an idea gets, the likelier it is that Spotify will implement it, and you can read more about how feedback on ideas reaches Spotify here.
