How to view song history on iOS mobile devices

Plan: Premium

Country: USA

Device: iPhone 7

Operating System: latest iOS 14.2

Spotify Version: 8.5.86

My Question or Issue

Please bring back the clock icon that was removed from the upper right corner of the home screen so we can easily access our history of songs played. (this link and the attached images shows the previous icon as recently as August -

https://www.businessinsider.com/how-to-see-spotify-listening-history)

The current method of having to add songs to a playlist is a horrible workaround when you just want to view your song history. (see link for reference to this method https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/How-can-I-look-at-my-listening-history-on-mobile/ta...)

Bring back the clock icon that was removed from the upper right corner of the home screen so we can easily access our history of past songs played. Thank you.

Good news!

The new "Recently Played" section is rolling out to the mobile app in the home tab. Here you will be able to see up to 3 months of listening history. Look for the clock icon in the top right corner of the home tab.

Travel back in time: Rediscover lost gems in your listening history with a new “Recently played” destination, where users can jump back in time and browse up to three months’ worth of listening history. Premium and Free users globally will be able to browse recently played individual tracks and episodes in addition to the playlists, albums, and shows they were played from.

You can read more info about "recently played" and other updates to the home tab in the news article:
