My Question or Issue

Is it a Spotify issue or an IOS issue? The day I opened Spotify after my IOS updated automatically I can no longer control Spotify from my lock screen. It's blank and the buttons don't react. I don't really care for the widget as I cycle songs from my lock screen. Can someone please confirm if this is an IOS issue or Spotify issue? I've allowed Spotify permissions, so I'm not sure what the problem is.

I had same issue fixed by deleting & reloading Spotify app, Thanks

In the end, I’m not sure what fixed it, the Lock Screen control started working again.

Didn’t work for me. I downloaded iOS 17.4.1 and now it won’t play on my Lock Screen. I hate apple updates, they’re always glitchy and never work!
