Recently I updated my iphone to the IOS 6. The problem is that although my spotify app ran perfect on IOS 5 connected to the Mercedes Media Interface, with the IOS 6 the Mercedes Audio System tells me "no playable files". Anyone could solve the problem. Wil we have to wait to the Spotify IOS 6 update? Will the guys on Spotify take this into account? Thank you.

Hi
Just add one song to trough itunes to the original player in the iphone. When you plug in the iphone trough the media interface, start the song then switch to spotify.
I too am experiencing the same issue with our Acura Tsx. We could use the standard 3.5mm connection, but is this issue being addressed? Thanks in advance..
I use IOS6 on my iPad and it works fine using Bluetooth, but when I use Spotify and the media interface on my iPod Touch, the song plays for a few secs and then the media interface forces the itunes songs to play. Any way around this?
Bluetooth
If you use something like the ViseeO WMA1000 plugged into the Media Interface then it will bluetooth to your apple device and download all the track/playlists/album/artist info into the car.
WIth IOS 6.0.x the UI is locked, but with 6.1 it looks like the iPod userinterface is then still usable to control the iPod as-well as the controls on the stereo.
Its about $90 ex tax from shops like: http://www.commandonline.co.uk/viseeo_wma1000.html no dount on eBay etc also
It also seems to work where 6.1 isn't working at all with some iPod kits.
