My Question or Issue

this morning, when i connected to CarPlay, the Spotify app start to look different and acts different.

1. the heart icon changed to + icon.

2. when I say to Siri 'I loved this song' it's not changed the + to V but over the phone I see it's been added to liked songs playlist.

3. when I click on + icon it's changed to V , for some reason the default adding it's for some playlist. (one of my playlist in cases when the songs were on Q)

why it's happened? there will be any fix for this?

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

What you kindly mentioned seems to be expected, so please let us add some insights. The ♡ Heart button was replaced with a (+) Plus button for saving things to Your Library. Things that have been saved to Your Library will now show a green ✔ Check icon instead of a green Heart icon.

When you indicate Siri that you loved a song, the track will be added to your Liked Songs playlist. When you tap the (+) Plus button from the Now Playing View, songs will be saved to your Liked Songs.

If this specific track was part of a playlist made by Spotify or someone else, then it is expected the song will be added to your Liked Songs if you tapped (+). If the playlist was created by you, and you're listening to a recommendation added by the Smart Shuffle feature, then it's expected that it'll be added to that playlist first.

So! We'd recommend you give a look at this article to learn more about the (+) plus button. If perhaps this is interrupting your playback, please send us a video recording of this behavior so we can better visualize what exactly is happening. You can attach the video in your next reply in mp4 format, or you can also upload it to YouTube or Google Drive and make it public, so we can watch it.

all what you wrote is wrong.

on the Iphone all was OK , when i click on the V it's first adding to liked playlist, if i want i click again and change it to other playlist. and this no matter from where the song came.

so in carplay it's same app it's working different.
