My Question or Issue

When using the apple watch, when playing a song from your playlist, you have the options next/previous and like/unlike. However, when a song from magic shuffle comes along, these options change to +15/-15 seconds and the like option is disabled. This makes zero sense to me. Especially with magic shuffle songs I would want to skip to next if I don’t like the song and like if I like it. Changing the interface is inconsistent and I can’t fathom why you would implement this unless it’s bug. Any help?

Hi there @ljdeb,

Thanks for reaching out. We'll be happy to help you enjoy your music on the Apple Watch.

This definitely seems to be an issue and not intended behaviour, so let's try and narrow this down. You mean that these controls only appear during songs added by Smart Shuffle, is that correct? If you haven't already, try reinstalling the Spotify app and rebooting the watch, as this may just be a temporary hiccup that these steps can clear. Detailed steps for this, as well as various other useful steps to try can be found in this article.

Let us know how it goes.
