Hey @Eliska2,

Reinstalling the app is a great step that can resolve many common issues - and you would need to re-download any downloaded music and podcasts after reinstalling the app.

I suggested the restart to see if that makes a difference but if that doesn't work, the reinstall is the next step we go through.

Let me know how everything goes!

Hey @Eliska2, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

First, try restarting your device. If that doesn't help, could you try a clean reinstall of the app following these steps? If you're still having trouble, can you send me a screenshot of what you're seeing exactly?

Additionally, let me know your current iOS version of your iPhone 8, as mentioned in your original post.

My Spotify just decided to not play anything from my downloaded songs even tho it has space taken on my phone, but I literally can’t. I tried reinstalling, it downloaded a few songs and stopped.

Don’t know what to do

Hi there @nukedemmy,

Thanks for reaching out!

You seem to be trying to download a lot of songs on one go as seen on the screenshot you provided, can you check with a smaller album or a playlist to see if it downloads and shows? Can you also confirm if any downloads appear when you filter them in Your Library or are you just not able to play them?

If the content stops downloading and doesn't continue, it's worth making sure that your internet connection is stable. You can also try it out with mobile data instead just to rule out any connectivity issues. Just make sure you turn on Downloads over cellular in the app's Settings - > Data-saving and offline. Also, in order not to use too much data, you can create a new playlist and add just a couple of songs to it, then try downloading it over cellular.

In case the screen locks while this is happening, it's possible that it could affect the process, so it's worth adjusting your device's settings temporarily to see if that makes a difference. You should be able to do that in your device's settings under Display & Brightness > Auto-Lock by setting it to Never and switch it back after downloading.

Let us know how it goes.
