Log in iPad app fails

After a password reset, I can’t access the iPad app. When I give login credentials, it says “something went wrong. Try again”. After repeated trying, it either says I am offline (which is not the case), or it says to try without a password through an email link. Even though I’m allegedly offline, I receive the email with the link (valid for 4 hours), but when I click it, it says the link has expired. I can login to the website on the iPad (using the same credentials- either typed or using Touch ID), so no issue with password or WiFi, but the app refuses to log me in. I have updated the app, have reinstalled it, but the problem persists. Only for iPad app, I can play on desktop or android.

Thanks for reaching out. Try performing a clean reinstall if you haven't already. If the issue persists, could you please provide us the following:

  • The exact model of the iPad and the iOS version used
  • The exact Spotify Version you use
  • Screenshots or a video of the behaviour
