I am no longer able to access my messages on my iphone mobile app. Anyone have this issue?
Hey all, thank you for coming to the Spotify Community.
Inbox and Messages are currently not available, after a lot of consideration this feature has been deprecated. You can read more about that here. Please, leave your feedback on sharing music with Spotify in that thread.
Take care.
Huib
I've lost count of how many times I've contacted support for this issue, and in the latest reply I was informed that: "We're sorry that you're still unable to access Messages/Inbox on your mobile. Although we could save all of your playlists and delete your account for you, allowing to the create a new one that isn't part of an A/B test group, the removal of the Inbox is going to become a permanent feature in a future update, so we would only be delaying the inevitable."
I was stunned by this answer, and furious. Spotify's customer service/support is a joke! My reply was:
""the removal of the Inbox is going to become a permanent feature in a future update"?? You've got to be joking....why?? And why wasn't I given a straight up answer about this the first time I contacted support? So now I have to be glued to my pc to be able to send/receive messages in Spotify, instead of using my mobil? How is this an improvement for your customers? Will it be replaced with a similar functionality, or does this mean that Spotify will be removing this service from all Spotify platforms? I have been using the messaging function in Spotify since 2010, and I have received hundreds of songs which are very important to me, for personal reasons. Can you guarantee that Spotify will not suddenly decide to remove the messaging function permanently, without warning their paying customers?
Regards, a very disappointed customer"

Hi,
Really sorry to see that the inbox icon is removed on this latest update of Spotify. Is there any other way to reach the messages in the inbox? Hoping this will be fixed, some way:)
Other than that: Keep up the good work. Love Spotify!
Hey guys,
For some users you will now need to tap on the bell icon in the side panel to view messages. Activity and Messages is now accessed by tapping the bell icon.
If you have the slightly updated iOS UI for the new "now" feature announced here:
https://press.spotify.com/us/2015/05/20/say-hello-to-the-most-entertaining-spotify-ever/
you should be able to see it
The new now feature is still rolling out to users so you might not have it yet depending on country
YAY!
The inbox is back on the phone. Thanks! Great to know that reaching out, helps!:)
ARE YOU **bleep**ING KIDDING ME?
Can you share where it is? I can't find it
Got it!
Thanks much. You rock!
