Music keeps pausing

Hello! My name is Grace, Heres the info before I get into the problem. My country is America, I'm on the premium plan, I have a IPhone 6s (I believe), I think that has iOS too.

Okay so I'm not sure if this is because of Spotify but why not ask right? So this started at about the beginning of August or so...I like to draw while I listen to music and I found out that when I open the drawing app (IbisPaintX) The music will pause, and when I play it again it will pause again in about 10 seconds or so. I have restarted my phone, reinstalled Spotify, (I cant reinstall the drawing app because I might lose all my drawings on there and I have some that took a long time.) and logged out of Spotify many times...I feel like I have tried everything...Like I said, if you can think of a solution that will be greatly appreciated! I emailed the drawing app too about 2 weeks ago and they haven't gotten back to me so I'm going to email them again. Thanks for your help

Apologies for the delayed response, we just came across this thread. Could you let us know if you’re still having troubles with this?

If you are, it sounds like the drawing app has permissions to run over Spotify and that's causing the issue.

We'd recommend checking with Apple how to control that so that Spotify could run simultaneously.
