My created playlists are not visible

Solved!

My created playlists are not visible

Hello everybody! After last update, all my created playlists are gone. I can see others playlist, but not mine. Even my follower can not see my playlists anymore. I gathered the songs on the playlists over years. Would you mind to help me out and check what might happened?

Best regards

Jens

Hi @JeFo1981, help's here!

Let's figure this out with you.

We'd like you to try a clean reinstallation first. Let us know how this goes.

It'd also be good if you could double-check that you're definitely logged into the right account. We'd ask you to check the following article to see if it helps.

If that doesn't help, could you let us know:

  • What exact app update caused this for you, and what was the date it occured?
  • Does it look the same on all devices, and what devices are they?

Keep us posted!

I'm having the same issue.

I've created a share playlist but it's not showing up in my library > my Playlists.

When using the link I can access the playlist, but since it's my playlist I atleast expect to be able to acces it from my playlists list.
any clues?

Hi @MickelDB,

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out!

Could you share a screen recording with us that shows this in action? It'd also be very helpful if you let us know the following:

  • your device's make, model and version of OS
  • the version of your Spotify app
  • the URI of the playlist in question
  • the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far

If possible, try logging in to your account on another device to see if the issue is present there.

Keep us posted on this.

Cheers!

all I can think off... but the only way to access the playlist is by using the link

Hi there @MickelDB,

Thank you for your reply and for the provided information.

Can you let us know if  you're using any 3rd party apps to organize your library?

It would also be great if you can check if you can find the playlist in your deleted playlists? You can check out the instructions on how to do that here under Recover deleted playlists.

Hello !

I'm having the same problem as well:

my playlist does not appear. Nowhere (almost). It doesn't show up in my library, it doesn't show up in my deleted playlists, it doesn't show up when I try to add music. Yet it exists: I am listening to my music on this same playlist. And this : On my computer and on my Iphone

Basically, yesterday on the train, I created a playlist, added a hundred songs to it, and listened to the playlist. Today, I connected to my computer, I downloaded spotify which until then had problems (I absolutely had to uninstall everything and restart my computer to redownload Spotify) I was able to listen to my playlist, I found on the homepage. But its the only place where I can find it. Check my screen: (yea Im french I hope its not a problem to understand)

Thanks for the help,

Have a nice day

Hey @Wiyasa,

Thanks for reaching out about this!

Can you try copying the songs over to another playlist and deleting the one that doesn't appear anywhere but in your Library?

If that doesn't work out, and you can't see and add song to the new playlist, could you send us a link to it?

Keep us posted.

Hi,

No I'm using native Spotify app.

I created a playlist to share and it's available using the link but it's not in the deleted list, its not to be found anywhere.

So I don't know what went wrong at your end when I created this playlist.

Perhaps you can compare the meta data this playlist created and make sure all flags and id's are correctly populated?

But this is clearly a Spotify issue and I'd also like Spotify to resolve this issue.

Kind regards,

Mickel

Hi there @MickelDB,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. This does seem odd so we'd like to take a closer look.

Can you provide us the URI of the playlist?

On another note, can you let us know if this occurs on one specific playlist or multiple playlists?

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Cheers!

Hi Jermy,

The link has already been shared before, but I'll share it again:

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0Cta2X8ULq3M0CdoPJYsfJ?si=02c8dbe3c0844cfa

Keepint it in 2 lines so it doesn't switch to an embeded list

Hey @MickelDB,

Thanks for sharing the playlist again.

Since it's still accessible on Spotify, but not visible in your Library it would be best if you copy over the songs to another playlist. This is easily done on Desktop where you can batch select all songs.

After that you can share the playlist with your friend again.

Hope this helps.

Hi Alex,

I've tried that.

However when creating a new playlist in the spotify app on my Macbook it doesn't seem to be working...

absolutely expected dogsh!t response from spotify

Since this thread is marked as resolved when it clearly isnt ill pop in and say to the best of my knowledge that the public playlists feature is broken. Yes this is on another account but it doesn't change the fact that i hopped on my phone and it still wouldn't appear as a public playlist even on my own account...

Now the issue might be that its a collaborative playlist between me and some friends of mine but it shouldn't mess with my playlist to the point that nobody can see it if they don't have the link. This needs to be looked into and fixed.

im having the same issue. my 65 playlists have always been public on my profile but now when i go to click on my profile only 10 playlists show up, furthermore when i click on the missing playlists they are set to public and displayed on profile, i have no idea why this is happening. it shows up broken on both my phone and laptop, my account user is bellabello, im a longtime harcore lover of spotify and im very worried for my account.

I’m having the same problem too. 🥲😡

My playlist is public, have added it to profile, but it doesn’t appear on my account! Very frustrating. I’ve tried deleting cache, reinstalling, restarting, and all sorts and it hasn’t been working. Ugh.

I have a playlist that randomly nobody can open no more. When I send a link it is not shown on any website and people claim it shows as a private playlist despite that it is clearly public and worked yesterday when someone saw it. today I can't send my playlist to friends anymore. What can I do to get a public playlist able to be shared again when I send the link to people?

This is the playlist I have issues with, pls give me advice or fix this somehow IDK where to find the answers. I tried everything I read on google and nothing helps me
