No search results on phone and ipad and won't download

I have spotify premium and the search function on both my ipad and iphone is not working. this is an issue specific to my account, i logged in with anothe account and the search funciton worked as usual. I have already tried logging out and back in, reinstalling, logging out and rebooting and then logging back in all with no luck. I can't think of anything else to do and have read through several forums to no avail. Also songs on my iphone will not download unless i switch "synch over cellular" on, however last time i did this it caused a massive data overage and so i would like to avoid this if possilble, all help is appreciated.
