Not all local files are syncing to mobile app on iPhone

I recently decided to switch away from iTunes and go with Spotify Premium. I wanted to move some of my local files over for songs that weren't on Spotify.

The transfer of the local files didn't create any problems. However, I then tried to make these songs available offline so that I could access them on my phone. I followed previous help threads and created a separate playlist for the newly imported local files (about 1,300 of them); opened the Spotify app on my phone; although only a handful of the 1,300 songs appeared at first, as soon as I selected 'download,' a bunch more started showing up.

However, after the download completed, not all of the files appeared. Why would it be that only a portion of the local files would show up on the mobile app after I told it to download but not all of them?

Never mind, figured it out! All of the songs didn't come through in the first download for some reason. I closed out the app and started it up again, and it started a second session of downloading, which captured the remaining songs that hadn't transferred to the phone.
