My Question or Issue

When I get the “watch this ad to get 30 minutes of uninterrupted listening” ad, I am too often not getting a full thirty minutes. At first I thought I was just thinking it was shorter than in reality, but now I’m sure I’m not. For example, right now I’m listening to music and I watched an ad for the thirty minutes, listened to four songs and now am getting more ads. I am certain it has not been thirty minutes. Occasionally I will get the 30 minute ad and immediately get more ads after I watch the first one. And with the “press this button to get 30 minutes of uninterrupted listening” it sometimes says that the link isn’t supported. It doesn’t happen very often, only two or three times, but it’s very annoying especially when I’m trying to go to sleep.

I’m getting the “after this ad you will get 30minutes of uninterrupted music” every other song

Everyone knows that after watching the ad that says '30 minutes of continuous listening ' you get around 30 minutes without an ad . But its the second time of me noticing that an ad came just after about 15 minutes even after watching that ad in the starting, so if anyone can look into this , please help

Absolutely the same, for MONTHS! I get the message for “30 minutes of uninterrupted listening”, and after only ONE song, the commercials are back. So frustrating, and likely a ploy to get more subscribers. Anyone know if Spotify has taken steps to fix the problem??

Been happening for months also

Has anyone gotten any helpful feedback from Spotify?

All for a class action suit! Maybe that's when Spotify will finally look into fixing this issue! 30 min ad-free is so misleading and outright wrong! It's been years of people complaining and no fixing in sight. What a joke!

I contacted them and worked with them directly. they wanted me to record my session to prove that the 30 minutes wasn't working. It seemed to suddenly improve, but I still have to do further testing..

Do you mind sharing the contact information? I literally got ads 7 minutes into a workout. They never give me 30 minutes uninterrupted.

Looks like they're gonna make me go through this all over again, as just got ads in less than 10 minutes after 30 minute "offer"

Last time they asked for recording of the entire process, and I wasn't able to repeat, so assumed they did some background magic after my online chat.

It does feel like they are being disingenuous, or they are just inept at doing their own testing...

at this point in time why even announce the fact that there might be 30 minutes of uninterrupted music on Spotify? After three songs you get at least four commercials, followed by another three songs, followed by another few commercials. This happens before the 20 minute mark. And the commercials are horrible knowing that they’ll bait you into wanting to stop the commercials to pay for the premium. Just the lie alone makes me wanna puke a little in the back of my throat and never give any of my money to this company.
