Pauses randomly

Pauses randomly

Premium, Sweden, iPhone 12, MBA 2020, Sonos speakers (mostly use the Spotify connect of convenience, even though sonos own app seem more reliable).


I recently (maybe some month ago) started experiencing random pausing in Spotify when playing music. It's mainly (and possibly only) an issues on iPhone. It might average on once or twice every hour. I use AirPods Pro. And it does seem to happen both on wifi and cellular. I haven't succeeded to identify any correlation between different combination of factors the issue occur.


I've tried to log out of every device from Spotify webpage and change password, just to be sure no one else is using my account. But that didn't make any difference.


Any suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!


We'd recommend running a clean reinstall of the app, following the steps described in this Spotify Answer.


If that doesn't change anything can you let us know if you experience pausing like that when you're not being connected to a Bluetooth device from your phone.
